The future of the NHS Walk-in Centre at Half Penny Steps
NHS West London CCG is carrying out a consultation about the walk-in service at Half Penny Steps Health Centre. The service is separate from the Half Penny Steps GP practice.
The contract for the walk-in centre at Half Penny Steps expires at the end of 2017. The CCG has made plans to improve access to GP services in the area. Patients can already get an appointment with a GP at the weekend or on a weekday evening.
Why are we holding a consultation
We want to hear from as many patients, community groups, and other key stakeholders as possible before making any changes, so we can take into account everybody’s needs. The consultation will be independently run by Healthwatch.
A full Equalities Impact Assessment (EqIA) has also been carried out through previous engagement run by the Paddington Development Trust’s Community Champions between December 2016 and March 2017 and data from the existing provider of the service.
