Become a Shared Lives Carer!

Thursday, 21 July 3-5 pm, Watford-Crofton Room, Freeman Suite, Kensington Town Hall

Adult Social Care is delighted to introduce a Shared Lives Scheme across the three boroughs. The scheme starts as an 18 month pilot and will be run by Grace Eyre Foundation, a charity with extensive experience of managing Shared Lives Schemes to enable adults with Learning Disabilities to live with professional carers in the carer’s home.

If you can support someone to make choices, lead a meaningful life and develop their independence, then you could be a Shared Lives Carer. You will receive training, support and payment which will cover your expenses and provide you with an income. If you would like to find out more about the scheme please attend our launch event on Thursday, 21 July 3-5 pm, Kensington Town Hall.
