Palliative care - public engagement dates added

Listening to the feedback received from our most recent engagement events, the CCG has organised further opportunities for people to share their views on four potential scenarios that have been developed to help address challenges currently faced within our local palliative care services - services for patients who have an incurable illness or are in their last phase of life.
Throughout February and until the 13th March, the CCG are carrying out a number of engagement activities to ensure local people are involved in designing the future model of care, and have the opportunity to provide feedback and any alternative solutions for the CCG to explore.

We have been working with local voluntary sector organisations to arrange a number of resident focus groups where we can discuss the scenarios and reach out to people who may not otherwise engage; as well as promoting opportunities for people to attend public workshops, drop ins and community events.
 
How can you get involved?
The events listed below are an opportunity to discuss the potential scenarios in the attached document, provide feedback and share any alternative suggestions you may have:
